Worst Tatto Designs Ever

Posted in General Tatto Designs, tatto video with tags , , , , , , , , , on June 3, 2008 by Chase Cregline

I have compiled a set of the worst tatto designs ever inked and created a video for it and posted it straight to youtube.  This is the first video I have created and posted so you’ll have to cut me some slack if you think its a bit rough.  If you like it, please rate it an add a comment to boost it up a bit.  I think these tatto designs are weird and many ar plain crass.  I really hope you like the video.

I have been pondering the reason these people get these tattoos.  Its obvious that the star wars tats are for the major star wars geeks and likewise the metal band and cartoon characters…Obviously fanatics.  But what about the people who got their belly button “converted” to an animals A-hole, and even more offensively, a womans “down their”.  What is wrong with these people.  Are these the types of people chasing cheap laughs from friends using shock value?  If so, the laugh they get lasts what, a minute…but the tatto design remains.  I can’t work it out.  Any thoughts?

Chase.

Angelina Jolie Tattoo Designs

Gossip magazines are obsessed with the latest celebrity tattoo designs. Most of the time I just roll my eyes and think “Big Deal, so [insert trashy Hollywood brat here] has got a new tattoo”. Occasionally, there are some interesting tattoo designs, in particular Angelina Jolie

It was a real chore to study Angelina’s body but hey, someone has to do it. Angie has over 13 tattoos on her body and many of them are quite obscure and interesting.

This left arm tatto is the coordinates representing the locations where she adopted her kids

  • Maddox (N11° 33′ 00″ E104° 51′ 00″)
  • Zahara (N09° 02′ 00″ E038° 45′ 00″)
  • Pax (N10° 46′ 00″ E106° 41′ 40″)

and where her and Brad Pitt’s child Shilo was born at (S22° 40′ 26″ E014° 31′ 40″) . Also note that this tattoo covers her now removed “Billy Bob” tattoo.

Here is a photo of some of her other tattoos (click to enlarge):

Just as interesting, i think, is the number of tattoos that Angelina has had removed or covered. There are at least 7. I guess it is easy to have tattoos removed when money is no object. Her most famous tattoo removal is her “Billy Bob” one that I mentioned earlier. She has it laser removed in 2005 after her 2002 divorce from the Hollywood actor.

Another tattoo that both Billy Bob Thornton & Jolie shared (on her right forearm) is now covered by a “strength of will” tattoo.

When it comes to popular celebrities with tattoos, Angelina is at the top. She is the most searched for tattooed beauty on the internet. Jolie routinely gets up to three times as many search inquiries as the next highest-rated tattooed celebrity. Now, this could be because she has such interesting tattoo designs, or it could just be because she is such a hottie…You tell me.

Where I Find Tattoo Designs

Posted in a blog dedicated to classic and modern tattoo designs with tags , , , , , , on March 5, 2008 by Chase Cregline

Finding great tattoo designs is harder than you think. I now get most of mine from one particular website but I have also used Google images search to find some designs. An example can be seen by clicking this link cross tattoo google search (opens in new window).

As you can see, it searches Googles millions of images for cross tattoos. The problem here is that most of them are fairly crappy photos and they all vary in size. What you are most likely after is clear & sharp tattoo designs that can be downloaded and printed ready for you to take to the tattoo artist. You see, if you take a photo of a tat to a tattoo artist, they will have to draw up a stencil of it, which takes time and will cost you money. If you already have a hi resolution stencil of the tat that you want then you will save time and money. I’ll show you what I mean…

Stencil

As you can see, The stencil (bottom image) is sharp and ready for the tattoo artist to make a transfer. If you took the top image to an artist, he would need to create a stencil version before anything else and would charge you a lot more in the long run.

So the question really is…Where do I find good tattoo design stencils? You can find some for free on the net here and there but they are usually just samples. Here are a couple of free sites:
